Same-Day Flower Delivery in Australia: Cut-Offs and Areas

It's late morning and the flowers need to arrive today. In Sydney or Melbourne you usually have until 1pm with Fig & Bloom or Floraly, and until 5pm for a home address with Flowers for Everyone. In Perth, only one of the three florists we checked lists same-day delivery at all. The cut-offs, weekend rules and delivery windows below were checked on the florists' own websites on 30 October 2026.

The quick answer

Fig & Bloom, Floraly and Flowers for Everyone list same-day delivery in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane metro areas. Floraly also lists Perth and Adelaide. That doesn't mean every address or bouquet qualifies: use the postcode and delivery date offered for your order.

This coverage summary comes from the company delivery pages checked on 30 October 2026. A city name is a starting point, not confirmation for a particular suburb. Same-day cut-off times by city

The table uses Fig & Bloom's Shipping Policy, Floraly's Delivery Information, and Flowers for Everyone's Delivery Info. Every cut-off shown was checked on 30 October 2026. Flowers for Everyone entries below are for residential addresses.

Fig & Bloom's dates remain subject to checkout availability. Floraly's FAQ gives slightly different same-day cut-offs from its Delivery Information page, so check the date picker. An unlisted weekend service isn't a confirmed delivery option.

Business and school addresses have different rules. Flowers for Everyone's Delivery Info lists business orders before 2pm daily, while its Shipping Policy says 1pm. Both were checked on 30 October 2026. Confirm the applicable cut-off before paying. The same sources list school orders before 9am Monday to Friday, with no weekend school delivery, checked on 30 October 2026.

Time zones catch people out

Use the recipient's clock when checking availability. Floraly's Delivery Information says its cut-offs use the destination's local time, checked on 30 October 2026. Fig & Bloom also states local time in its Shipping Policy, checked on the same date.

Floraly writes its Perth cut-offs in AWST and its Adelaide cut-offs in ACST. If you're in Sydney ordering for someone in Perth, the noon cut-off is noon in Perth, not noon on your phone. The same goes the other way: a Perth sender ordering for Brisbane works to Brisbane's clock. Check the time where the flowers are going, then check the date the florist offers for that address.

Weekends and public holidays

Fig & Bloom delivers on Saturdays where checkout offers the date, but does not deliver on Sundays. If you're using that florist for a weekend occasion, choose an available Saturday date instead.

Floraly's Delivery Information lists Saturday same-day options for Perth and Adelaide. It doesn't list Saturday same-day cut-offs for Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, or Sunday cut-offs for these cities. Enter the postcode and check the date picker before selecting flowers.

Flowers for Everyone lists weekend residential same-day delivery in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Its Delivery Info also lists Central Coast and Gold Coast same-day orders before 11am Monday to Sunday, checked on 30 October 2026.

Public holidays and special dates can change the usual pattern. Floraly specifically flags these exceptions. Check the date picker for the actual delivery date, and confirm any holiday conditions or fees at checkout. A normal weekday rule doesn't establish availability on a public holiday.

What same day doesn't promise

Same-day availability doesn't tell you the exact arrival time. It also doesn't mean every arrangement can go today. Floraly says same-day service is limited to selected flowers, and its FAQ explains that fresh sourcing affects which arrangements are available.

Floraly's Delivery Information page showed an optional delivery window for an extra $10, checked on 30 October 2026. Check which window the order offers before paying for it. Don't assume a standard delivery includes that option.

Flowers for Everyone's Shipping Policy, checked on 30 October 2026, gives these delivery windows:

• Weekday residential: delivery by 9pm.
• Weekday business: delivery by 5pm.
• Weekday school: delivery by 3pm.
• Later weekday orders: orders after 1pm arrive in the 5pm to 9pm window.
• Weekend orders: orders placed by 2pm arrive by 6pm.

Flowers for Everyone says standard delivery can't promise a specific time. So for an office or school, pick the business or school option at checkout. The later residential cut-off doesn't apply there.

Delivery charges also need a separate check. Fig & Bloom's FAQ quotes a flat $19.95, including same-day delivery, checked on 30 October 2026. Its Shipping Policy says the fee is shown at checkout for the order and address, so use that checkout amount. Floraly calculates delivery charges for the recipient's address at checkout. Outside the metro areas

A regional address needs its own availability check. Fig & Bloom lists next-day StarTrack delivery beyond its studio cities, including Adelaide, Canberra, the Gold Coast, Geelong and Wollongong. Its StarTrack and regional courier runs operate on business days. Don't treat that service as metro same-day delivery.

Floraly serves selected regional addresses, with available dates shown after you enter the postcode. It does not currently deliver to Tasmania or the Northern Territory. Outside its five listed metro areas, its FAQ says deliveries run Tuesday to Friday.

Floraly's FAQ, checked on 30 October 2026, lists next-day delivery to its five metro areas for orders before 8pm the previous day. Elsewhere, it says to order by 8pm for 48 hour delivery. Those timings don't turn a regional address into a same-day option. Use the date offered for the specific postcode.

If it doesn't arrive

Contact the florist first. The ACCC's consumer rights and guarantees page says consumer guarantees apply automatically. Products must be of acceptable quality and match their description. Services must be supplied with due care and skill, and within a reasonable time if no time was agreed. A no-refunds statement cannot remove these rights, and gift recipients have the same rights.

Fig & Bloom's Shipping Policy says redelivery fees may apply for an incorrect address or when nobody is home and there's no safe place. It says no fee applies if the failed attempt was its fault. Its Refund Policy provides replacement or redelivery first for a minor failure, and a choice of replacement or refund for a major failure. Photos help but aren't a condition.

Floraly's Delivery & Refunds page asks you to contact it within two days of receiving flowers and attach a photo for substandard or incorrect flowers. That period was checked on 30 October 2026. For a missing delivery, contact Floraly about the order.

• Card message: finish the message before submitting the order.

Frequently asked questions

Can I still order flowers for today?

Check the city table, then enter the recipient's postcode on the florist's site. The cut-off alone isn't enough: the arrangement and delivery date must also be available for that address.

Which of these florists offers Sunday delivery?

Flowers for Everyone lists Sunday same-day delivery in its stated service areas. Fig & Bloom does not deliver on Sundays. Floraly's Delivery Information page doesn't list Sunday cut-offs, so check its date picker.

Can I get same-day flowers in Perth or Adelaide?

Floraly lists selected same-day flowers for eligible metro addresses in both cities. Fig & Bloom lists Adelaide next-day delivery via StarTrack. The other same-day options in the table aren't listed for those destinations.

Can I choose an exact delivery time?

Don't assume that same-day service includes a specific arrival time. Floraly offers a paid delivery-window option at checkout. Flowers for Everyone says its standard delivery cannot promise a specific time.

What if the flowers are a gift and there's a problem?

The ACCC says gift recipients have the same consumer guarantee rights. Contact the business first and explain the problem. The florist's own process can help you raise the issue, but cannot remove those rights.
