- Fig & Bloom lists Adelaide for next-day delivery by StarTrack on business days. Flowers for Everyone doesn't list Adelaide on the pages we read.
- Check your postcode and the bouquet in the date picker, and confirm the delivery fee at checkout.
It's Thursday morning and you want flowers at an Adelaide address today. That's possible, but the clock is tighter than you might expect: Floraly, the only one of the three national online florists we checked that lists same-day delivery in Adelaide metro, moves its cut-off from 1pm earlier in the week to 11am on Thursday and Friday. This page sets out who delivers to Adelaide, when to order, what the fees are, and what to check before you pay. Every fact was checked on the florists' own websites on 30 October 2026.
FlowersDelivery.com.au is an independent guide operated by Dominet BV. We're not a florist and we don't take orders. No link on this site is an affiliate link right now. We may earn a commission from florists in future when a reader orders through a link on this site. If that happens we'll label those links and explain it in our affiliate disclosure, and it won't change the facts we publish. Prices, cut-offs and fees were checked on each florist's own website on 30 October 2026 and can change, so confirm them at checkout. Read our general information notice. For Adelaide, check that your postcode and chosen flowers qualify before relying on a same-day option.
Who delivers to Adelaide
| Florist | Same day in Adelaide metro? | Other options | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fig & Bloom | Not listed | Next-day delivery by StarTrack on business days | FAQ, Shipping Policy |
| Floraly | Yes, on selected flowers to eligible addresses | Next day if ordered before 8pm the day before | Delivery Information, FAQ |
| Flowers for Everyone | Not listed | Adelaide not listed on its Delivery Info page | Delivery Info |
That leaves a short list. If you need flowers in Adelaide today, Floraly is the one of these three that says it can do it. If tomorrow is fine, you have two to choose from. A local Adelaide florist is also worth a call, and we explain what to ask further down.
Same-day cut-offs by day
Floraly's Delivery Information page lists these Adelaide metro cut-offs, in Adelaide local time:
| Day | Order before |
|---|---|
| Monday | 1pm |
| Tuesday | 1pm |
| Wednesday | 1pm |
| Thursday | 11am |
| Friday | 11am |
| Saturday | 12pm |
| Sunday | Not listed |
A few things to know:
- The time is Adelaide time, not the time where you are. Floraly says its cut-offs use the destination's local time. If you're ordering from another state, work out what time it is in Adelaide before you rely on the cut-off.
- Thursday and Friday are earlier. Two hours earlier than Monday to Wednesday. It's an easy one to miss if you're used to ordering at lunchtime.
- Same day applies to selected flowers only. Not every bouquet qualifies, and Floraly's FAQ says that because flowers are sourced fresh each morning, same-day isn't guaranteed on every arrangement.
- Public holidays and special dates can differ. Floraly says so on the same page.
- The FAQ and Delivery Information page don't match exactly. Floraly's FAQ lists slightly different same-day cut-offs. We've used the Delivery Information page here. The date picker at checkout is the final word.
Next-day delivery to Adelaide
Next day gives you more room.
Floraly. Its FAQ says next-day delivery to Adelaide metro is available if you order before 8pm the day before. Outside the five metro areas it lists (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide), it delivers Tuesday to Friday only, with 48-hour delivery if ordered by 8pm.
Fig & Bloom. Its FAQ lists Adelaide among the places it reaches by StarTrack next-day delivery, beyond its studio cities. The Shipping Policy says StarTrack and regional courier runs operate on business days, and that Fig & Bloom doesn't deliver on Sundays. In practice, a Friday order won't arrive by StarTrack on Saturday or Sunday, so plan for a business day.
If the date matters, such as a birthday or a service, order a day or two earlier than you think you need to, and pick the date at checkout.
Delivery fees
| Florist | Delivery fee on its pages |
|---|---|
| Fig & Bloom | FAQ quotes a flat $19.95; Shipping Policy says the fee for your order and address is shown at checkout |
| Floraly | Depends on the recipient's address and is calculated at checkout; a guaranteed delivery window costs an extra $10 |
We can't give you one Adelaide delivery fee for Floraly, because it doesn't publish one. Fig & Bloom's own pages give two answers, so treat the checkout figure as the real one. Our cost guide has more on what adds up.
Weekends and public holidays
- Saturday: Floraly lists a 12pm same-day cut-off for Adelaide metro. Fig & Bloom's StarTrack runs operate on business days.
- Sunday: Neither Floraly's Adelaide cut-off table nor Fig & Bloom lists Sunday delivery. Fig & Bloom says it doesn't deliver on Sundays.
- Public holidays and special dates: Floraly says cut-offs can differ. Check the date picker.
If the occasion falls on a Sunday, deliver on the Saturday or the Monday, and say so in the card message.
Sympathy and funeral flowers in Adelaide
Floraly's sympathy page says funeral bouquets can be ordered same day to Adelaide metro, or pre-booked. It also says it sends flowers in bud, especially lilies, and suggests delivering funeral flowers a few days before the service so they've opened in time.
For a service:
- Get the details right. The funeral home's name and address, the date and time of the service, and the family name.
- If you're not sure, send to the family home rather than the funeral home.
- Allow time. With Fig & Bloom, Adelaide is a next-day delivery on business days, so a service on Monday morning needs an order well before the weekend.
Our sympathy flowers guide covers what to send and what to write.
When something goes wrong
Each florist sets its own window for complaints, and both are short:
- Floraly asks you to get in touch within two days of receiving the bouquet, with a photo if the flowers are substandard or wrong. It says refunds can take up to seven working days, and that orders can't be cancelled (Delivery & Refunds).
- Fig & Bloom assesses freshness against its seven-day guarantee if the flowers were reasonably cared for, and says refunds go to the original payment method (Refund Policy).
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law sit alongside these policies. The ACCC says consumer guarantees apply automatically, that a "no refunds" sign can't take them away, and that someone who receives a product as a gift has the same rights. The first step is to contact the florist.
Ordering from a local Adelaide florist
We haven't researched local Adelaide florists, so we don't name any. If you'd rather use one, ask:
- What's your same-day cut-off, and is it in Adelaide time?
- Do you deliver to this suburb, and on which days?
- What's the delivery fee for this address?
- Will you substitute flowers if something's out of stock?
- What happens if no one's home?
- How long do I have to raise a problem, and how?
Getting these answers in writing, such as in an order confirmation, makes any later complaint easier.
Before you order
- Check the time in Adelaide against the cut-off for today's day of the week.
- Enter the postcode and pick the bouquet before you rely on same day.
- Confirm the delivery fee at checkout.
- Add the recipient's phone number if the florist asks for it, in case the driver can't find the address.
- Avoid Sundays.
- For a service, give the funeral home, date, time and family name.
Our same-day guide compares cut-offs across all five cities, and our comparison of three florists sets out each florist's rules side by side.
