Best Flower Delivery in Australia: Three Florists Compared

Three online florists, three sets of rules. Fig & Bloom won't deliver on a Sunday, Floraly is the only one of the three that lists same-day delivery in Perth, and Flowers for Everyone lets residential orders in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane go in as late as 5pm on a weekday. Below are their delivery areas, cut-offs, fees and refund rules side by side. The best choice depends on where and when you need flowers delivered, so we don't pick one winner for everyone. Every fact was checked on the florists' own websites on 30 October 2026.

Fig & Bloom

Fig & Bloom offers metro hand delivery where checkout offers the date. Its FAQ, checked on 30 October 2026, says same-day coverage includes more than 1,000 suburbs across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Use its suburb information and checkout together rather than relying on the city name alone.

Outside its studio cities, its FAQ and Shipping Policy describe next-day StarTrack delivery to Adelaide, Canberra, the Gold Coast, Geelong, Wollongong and other towns Australia-wide. Those pages, checked on 30 October 2026, say StarTrack and regional courier runs operate on business days.

The FAQ, checked on 30 October 2026, lists customer care hours as Monday to Saturday, 8am to 3pm Melbourne time. Check that timezone if you're contacting the team from elsewhere.

Its Shipping Policy names Fairfield, Camperdown and Bowen Hills studios for failed-delivery pickup. Redelivery may cost extra after an incorrect address or an unsuccessful attempt with no safe place. There's no redelivery fee if the failure was Fig & Bloom's fault. Saturday metro deliveries may be left in a reasonable place without a signature.

Floraly

Floraly's Delivery Information makes same-day availability depend on both the address and selected flowers. Public holidays and special dates can differ. Its FAQ gives slightly different same-day cut-offs, so check the date picker for your actual arrangement.

The FAQ, checked on 30 October 2026, lists next-day delivery to the five metro areas in the table for orders before 8pm the previous day. Elsewhere, it says order by 8pm for 48 hour delivery, with deliveries outside those metros running Tuesday to Friday. Because Floraly buys flowers fresh each morning, it says not every arrangement can go out same day.

Floraly doesn't currently deliver to Tasmania or the Northern Territory. Selected regional addresses are covered; enter the postcode to see available dates. It sends a tracking link on dispatch.

Arrangements can't be changed, and lilies can't be removed. Seasonal stem substitutions may occur. If a particular flower matters to your choice, consider those restrictions before ordering.

Flowers for Everyone

Flowers for Everyone separates residential, business and school deliveries. Its Delivery Info and Shipping Policy disagree on the business cut-off, as shown in the table. Confirm the applicable deadline with the company before ordering for a business address.

The Shipping Policy, checked on 30 October 2026, lists weekday delivery by 9pm residential, 5pm business and 3pm school. Orders after 1pm arrive in the 5pm to 9pm window. Weekend orders placed by 2pm arrive by 6pm. A same-day order therefore doesn't necessarily mean arrival during the recipient's working hours.

Click and Collect is listed at its Silverwater Head Design Studio and its Rouse Hill, Salisbury and Yarraville stores. That's a different thing from Fig & Bloom's studio pickup, which only applies when a delivery fails.

Same-day coverage compared by city

Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane metro appear in all three companies' same-day coverage. Eligibility still depends on the suburb, arrangement and delivery date. Our same-day delivery guide explains those checks, and the Sydney guide focuses on that city.

Only Floraly lists Perth same-day delivery among these three. Floraly also lists Adelaide same-day delivery, while Fig & Bloom describes next-day StarTrack delivery to Adelaide. See the Perth delivery guide if that's your destination.

For the Central Coast and Gold Coast, Flowers for Everyone explicitly lists same-day service. Fig & Bloom includes the Gold Coast in its next-day coverage. Don't treat a national delivery statement as confirmation that flowers can arrive today.

Fees and total cost compared

Fig & Bloom's fee needs a careful read. Its FAQ, checked on 30 October 2026, quotes a flat $19.95, including same-day delivery. Its Shipping Policy instead tells you to use the fee shown for the order and address at checkout. Confirm that amount before comparing totals.

Floraly calculates delivery charges at checkout. Its Delivery Information page header, checked on 30 October 2026, offered an optional delivery window for an extra $10. Check the terms before relying on it for a service or workplace.

Flowers for Everyone's Delivery Info, checked on 30 October 2026, lists standard delivery at $22.95 and a minimum order of $54.95. The standard fee excludes public holidays, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. Standard delivery doesn't promise a specific arrival time.

Bouquet examples aren't directly comparable baskets. Fig & Bloom's same-day page, checked on 30 October 2026, listed starting prices of $85, $113 and $119. Refunds, cancellations and substitutions compared

Fig & Bloom's Refund Policy, checked on 30 October 2026, assesses freshness over seven days with reasonable care. For a minor failure, it offers replacement or redelivery first. For a major failure, you choose replacement or refund. Refunds return to the original payment method. Photos help but aren't a condition.

Floraly's Delivery & Refunds, checked on 30 October 2026, asks you to contact it within two days of receipt and attach a photo for substandard or incorrect flowers. It states a reply within 24 hours and refunds taking up to seven working days. It doesn't accept returns or change-of-mind requests, and orders can't be cancelled.

Flowers for Everyone won't cancel and refund an order with less than 24 hours' notice, and charges $20 to cancel earlier than that. Its FAQ says a flower that's unavailable is swapped for a similar one of the same colour and value. Floraly may also substitute stems by season, and it won't change an arrangement or take lilies out, so pick a lily-free design if that matters.

The ACCC says products must meet acceptable quality and match their description. Services require due care and skill, and a reasonable timeframe if none is agreed. A no-refunds statement can't remove consumer guarantees. Gift recipients have the same rights. Contact the business first.

Which fits which situation

For Sunday delivery in Sydney, Flowers for Everyone is the only company here that lists Sunday cut-offs. For Perth or Adelaide same-day delivery, Floraly has published coverage. For Fig & Bloom metro hand delivery, check that checkout offers your date.

For funeral flowers, consider timing and how open the blooms will be. Fig & Bloom asks for the funeral home, service date and time, and family name; if unsure, it suggests the family home. All three list same-day metro coverage in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Floraly additionally lists Perth and Adelaide. Check the postcode and selected arrangement before paying.

Which lists Sunday delivery?

Flowers for Everyone publishes Sunday cut-offs. Fig & Bloom doesn't deliver Sundays. Check Floraly's date picker rather than assuming a Sunday option exists.

Can I compare fees without an address?

Only partly. Floraly calculates its charge at checkout, and Fig & Bloom's Shipping Policy directs you there too. Use the final basket to compare your own order.

Can I cancel if plans change?

Floraly says orders can't be cancelled. Flowers for Everyone applies notice requirements and a fee, detailed above. Fig & Bloom may refuse change-of-mind returns on made-to-order flowers.

What if the flowers arrive in poor condition?

Contact the florist first and describe the problem. Follow its claim process where applicable. Consumer guarantees also apply to gifts, and company refund wording can't remove those rights.
