Flower Delivery Sydney: Same-Day Cut-Offs and Fees

Quick answer

  • All three florists offer same-day delivery to eligible Sydney metro addresses.
  • Check the delivery date for your postcode and chosen flowers before paying.
  • Confirm the checkout total and any business or funeral timing directly.

Sydney is the easiest city in the country for last-minute flowers. All three national florists we checked deliver same day across the metro area, and one of them takes residential orders until 5pm on a weekday. The catch is in the detail: offices, schools, Sundays and the Central Coast each run on different rules. Everything below was checked on the florists' own websites on 30 October 2026.

FlowersDelivery.com.au is an independent guide operated by Dominet BV. We're not a florist and we don't take orders. No link on this site is an affiliate link right now. We may earn a commission from florists in future when a reader orders through a link on this site. If that happens we'll label those links and explain it in our affiliate disclosure, and it won't change the facts we publish. Prices, cut-offs and fees were checked on each florist's own website on 30 October 2026 and can change, so confirm them at checkout. Read our general information notice. For Sydney orders, check the suburb and address type before relying on a metro cut-off.

Who delivers same day in Sydney

The table uses each florist's delivery pages, checked on 30 October 2026. Deadlines are order cut-offs, not promised arrival times. An eligible address and an available delivery date still matter.

Sources for every time and fee in this table, checked on 30 October 2026: Fig & Bloom's Shipping Policy and FAQ, Floraly's Delivery Information, and Flowers for Everyone's Delivery Info and Shipping Policy.

Fig & Bloom publishes a Sydney suburb list. Floraly asks you to enter the postcode to see available dates. Flowers for Everyone lists Greater Sydney coverage. Start with the actual destination, then choose flowers available for that address. Our florist comparison can help you compare the wider service details.

Cut-off times and the local time rule

Use the destination's clock when ordering from elsewhere. Fig & Bloom's Shipping Policy and Floraly's Delivery Information specify local time, checked on 30 October 2026. For a Sydney recipient, that means Sydney time. Leave yourself room to check the address and finish checkout before the stated deadline.

Floraly's FAQ and Delivery Information give slightly different same-day deadlines. Use the Delivery Information figures above as a reference, then check the date picker for your flowers and postcode. Its FAQ says same-day delivery isn't available on every arrangement because flowers are sourced fresh each morning.

Flowers for Everyone also has a business-address discrepancy. Its Delivery Info says before 2pm, while its Shipping Policy says 1pm, both checked on 30 October 2026. Confirm directly before placing a business order near those deadlines. Don't apply the residential cut-off to an office.

The Central Coast has a separate rule. Flowers for Everyone's Delivery Info, checked on 30 October 2026, lists a before-11am same-day cut-off Monday to Sunday. Use that rule for a Central Coast destination rather than assuming the Sydney metro deadline applies. Our same-day delivery guide explains coverage across other areas.

Delivery fees and minimum orders in Sydney

Fig & Bloom's FAQ quotes a flat delivery charge of $19.95, including same-day delivery, checked on 30 October 2026. Its Shipping Policy instead directs you to the fee shown for your order and address at checkout. Treat the FAQ figure as published guidance and check the amount you're actually being charged.

Floraly's Delivery Information says charges depend on the recipient's address and appear at checkout. There's no single Sydney fee to compare from that page. Enter the postcode before settling on a bouquet, so you can compare the total rather than the flower price alone.

Flowers for Everyone's Delivery Info lists standard delivery at $22.95 and a minimum order of $54.95 to check out, checked on 30 October 2026. The standard fee excludes public holidays, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. Check how your chosen order meets the minimum and what delivery adds before paying.

Keep the destination and delivery date the same across your options. A published delivery charge doesn't tell you the full order cost. Our flower delivery cost guide explains what to check when comparing bouquet prices and delivery charges.

Weekend, public holiday and special-day orders

Fig & Bloom's Shipping Policy, checked on 30 October 2026, offers eligible Sydney metro same-day orders before 1pm Monday to Saturday where checkout offers the date. It doesn't deliver on Sundays. If you're considering that florist for a Sunday occasion, choose Saturday delivery instead and check availability.

Floraly's Sydney same-day schedule on Delivery Information is Monday to Friday, checked on 30 October 2026. Public holidays and special dates can differ. Check its date picker for the recipient's postcode instead of borrowing weekend rules published for another city.

Flowers for Everyone's Delivery Info lists residential weekend same-day orders before 2pm, checked on 30 October 2026. Its Shipping Policy says those orders arrive by 6pm. Standard delivery doesn't promise a specific arrival time, so confirm suitability if the recipient needs to leave earlier.

For a public holiday or special occasion, check both the date offered and the delivery charge. Flowers for Everyone's ordinary fee excludes the named special days above. Confirm the applicable fee at checkout instead of treating the standard charge as a quote.

When no one is home

Give clear access instructions and the recipient's contact details when ordering. Include their contact number in the florist's order form so the florist has a way to reach them. Check whether the address has a suitable place for flowers if the recipient steps out.

Fig & Bloom's Shipping Policy says a redelivery fee may apply if the address is wrong, or nobody is home and there's no safe place to leave the flowers. No fee applies when the failed attempt was its fault. The policy names Camperdown as a studio for pickup of failed deliveries.

That studio pickup is for failed deliveries only, not a general Click and Collect service, so ask before you travel. Fig & Bloom also says Saturday metro deliveries may be left in a reasonable place without a signature, so consider access when choosing the date.

For Flowers for Everyone, check the redelivery terms before ordering if missed delivery is a concern. Ask what happens at your particular address, including any charge and how another attempt is arranged. Don't assume another company's policy applies.

Hospitals, offices and schools

For a hospital, check with the florist and recipient's facility before ordering. Confirm the delivery details they need and whether the intended recipient can receive flowers there. Ask the florist about any hospital delivery deadline for that address.

For offices and schools, distinguish order deadlines from arrival windows. Flowers for Everyone's Shipping Policy, checked on 30 October 2026, lists weekday delivery by 5pm for businesses and 3pm for schools. Its Delivery Info lists school orders before 9am Monday to Friday, with no weekend school delivery.

Flowers for Everyone's Shipping Policy also says orders placed after 1pm arrive between 5pm and 9pm, checked on 30 October 2026. Given the differing business deadlines, confirm directly that delivery fits reception hours. For Fig & Bloom and Floraly, ask about the particular office or school before ordering.

Sympathy and funeral deliveries in Sydney

A service needs more detail than a home delivery. Fig & Bloom's sympathy page asks for the funeral home, service date and time, and family name. It suggests sending to the family home if you're unsure. Confirm the service details before placing an order.

Floraly's sympathy page says flowers arrive in bud, especially lilies, and suggests delivery a few days before a funeral so they can open. Consider that advice when choosing the delivery date. Our sympathy and funeral flowers guide covers what to send and when.

Before you order

Use this checklist before payment:

  • Destination: Enter the full address and postcode, then confirm the florist serves it on your chosen date.
  • Address type: Tell the florist if it's a home, office, school, hospital or funeral venue.
  • Timing: Check the applicable order deadline and whether the arrival window suits the recipient.
  • Total: Review the bouquet price, delivery fee and any minimum order requirement together.
  • Access: Add useful entry instructions and recipient contact details. Check the missed-delivery process.
  • Flowers: Read substitution and arrangement conditions before choosing a particular flower.
  • Collection: Flowers for Everyone lists Click and Collect at Silverwater and Rouse Hill. Confirm collection arrangements before travelling.

Our guide to choosing a florist explains the service questions to ask before committing to an order.

Flowers for Everyone lists Sunday residential same-day delivery. Fig & Bloom doesn't deliver on Sundays. For Floraly, check the date picker because its published Sydney same-day schedule covers weekdays.

Is same-day delivery more expensive at Fig & Bloom?

Its FAQ quotes the same $19.95 delivery charge for same-day orders, checked on 30 October 2026. Its Shipping Policy says the fee shown at checkout applies, so confirm your order's charge there.
